Of general threads, excitement, animus, and Aki

Alright, let me get my fucking rant out of the way first, and then we can continue with good things. General threads are shit, and if you disagree with me you are a fucking retard and the reason that /a/ is getting worse and worse each day. Now here is some arguments and my responses to each.

1. You just hate them because you don't like the anime: Wrong, I'm a huge fucking K-ON fan and the K-ON general thread is one of the most retarded shit holes on /a/. Same with Strike Witches general. Raildex isn't too bad but that one I actually do have a personal grudge against being that it's existence caused two of my most favorite posters to stop posting on /a/.

2. It cleans up the front page: No it doesn't when they are always on the god damn front page.

3. Just hide them: Yes because I love most of the front page being hidden so that I can't see anything.

4. You have never even been in the general threads and believe what others tell you: No, this is a stupid argument that people always try to use even though I've been in the general threads on multiple occasions, they are shit and always are shit.

5. You are just a mad tripfag because you can't get attention in the general threads and can't troll them: No, my fucking problem is I can't discuss a show I like without getting nothing but SAGE and "Take it to the general." Can I discuss it there? Fuck no, because there is no discussion and I'm not part of their little general thread club. I'm going to the damn general to listen to them talk about how they want to abduct japanese girls or how some anon could suck his own penis and the others ask him how.

6. Long-term discussion is not defined enough to warrant me taking it to /anime/: I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FUCKING EXPLAIN THIS. IT'S BASIC FUCKING ENGLISH. EVEN AN 8 YEAR OLD COULD UNDERSTAND THIS.

7. The only people who want general threads to go away are newfags who weren't here before them: No, you sir are the fucking newfag and don't belong on /a/. General threads breed a forum mentality of a static thread made for that one series, it completely takes away from the dynamic nature that /a/ has as an anonymous image board and the feeling that got many of us to choose to visit /a/ initially. Now I know some of you will say "Well you're a tripfag that does the same thing." I wear my trip only for two things. Reason one: I enjoy pissing people off and by using a trip I do this automatically, it isn't for attention as most may think, it's because I'm a sick fucking bastard that gets kicks from making people angry. Reason 2: When posting in WOW!scans related threads, it gives people the ability to ask me something specifically if they have a question.

So all in all, if you believe general threads belong on /a/ you are stupid and that is it. That is shit meant for a forum, not my /a/. Faggots. (If any of you have any more arguments against my logic feel free to leave a comment and I will point out why you don't deserve to breath the same air as me.)

Exicted for Fanime? I sure as fuck am, should be fun to have so many people coming out from across the country to hang out. I wish I could get more people to come, but hell I'm pretty fucking pleased at the planned turnout. Now if only Music Fest could get an awesome fucking band to play. I am highly jealous of the face that Sakura Con gets exist†trace, since I love the fuck out of them.

Winter season of anime is winding down, Index II ended pretty good, could have been better, but the levels of Accelerator pleased me enough. Still waiting on Merry and Gosick to end since I really like them. AND HOLY FUCK KIMI NI TODOKE PLEASED THE FUCK OUT OF ME. So good, so fucking good, especially that last bit between Ryu and Chizuru, since they are my favorite characters. Spring season is starting though, I watched the first episodes of Nichijou and Hanasaku Iroha. Nichijou made me laugh my ass off, I know I'll love this show. The artwork and vocal cast of HanaIro was fucking amazing. I hope the animation stays on that level for the whole season, although it doesn't matter because Aki Toyosaki is in it and as long as I hear her voice I will be happy. Can't wait for The World God Only Knows II and Hiden no Aria to start, fucking Firetruck moe and JC Staff shit. I'm excited for it all!

Now onto Aki. Oh Aki Toyosaki, how I adore you, you are so cute and perfect and I love your voice. The little fang of yours makes me smile every time I see it. It is utterly adorable. Not to mention I get to hear you a lot this season, which makes me oh so happy, and seeing your pictures has helped calm me in these recent bouts of rage because of /a/ at the moment. I love you Aki. However we can never be, despite our similarity in ages, because you are a Japanese Idol and I am but some American asshole on the internet. So I shall sit here and admire you from afar. If I ever do meet you, it will just be brief and me saying something along the lines of "Oh nice to meet you, I'm a fan of your work," nothing more. You will never know the depths of my love for you Aki-chan, but you will always be my seiyu waifu.
