PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPERSONA! (The fact that this fan art exists is amazing, despite being P4 and not P3 as my title references.)
So yeah, I've been playing a shit ton of Persona 3 Portable. It's been a while since I've played a good turn based RPG, and holy shit I am loving this game. The only problem I have with it is basically the fact that to max all my Social Links I have to be a player. Now don't get me wrong, I don't doubt my skills when it comes to macking on multiple ladies at once, but I really do like just picking one girl and being faithful and the game doesn't let me. I just wanted to spend time with Yuko, hell she said she loved me, I feel horrible going after other girls after that. I guess also I wish I could have fit the name "Koizumi d'Pimphandia" however "Koizumi Pimphand" fit so that was good, it also cracks me up that Mitsuru uses your last name when she talks to you so she calls me "Pimphand." Other than that though, I love the shit out of the game. Once I'm done with it though, I know I'm going to want to play Persona 4, however I really don't want to buy a game and component cables for my PS2. However, since later this year Persona 4: The Golden will be coming out on the Vita, this now is a huge selling point for me to get a Vita.
As for this season in anime, I am watching Korean Zombie S2, Nyarlko, Medaka Box, Jormangand, and Upotte!! Zombie I love as much as season 1 although as the show goes on I keep getting more and more drawn to Yuki over Haruna, but I love them both. Nyarlko is pretty funny, like the references they make to other things always crack me up. Medaka Box is alright, even though I literally picked it up only for Aki Toyosaki in a role where she's not doing her high pitched voice. Jormangand is fucking awesome because... well... HER NAME IS KOKO SHE IS LOCO I SAID OH NO! Then there is Upotte. I love Upotte. It's cute girls who are assault rifles, doing cute things. L85A1 is my raifu, no question. I have some older stuff I want to download and watch since I've had them on my backlog for a while now. I did just finish re-watching Berserk though. Lathy hadn't seen it yet and I told her it is like, a required watch, no questions, and I forced her to watch it. She loved it, she's going to start reading the manga now. That pleased me. I had a lot of fun re-watching it with her and I can't wait to watch more shit together, I had a blast. Watching Berserk again also reignited my passion for the series and I am now even more excited for the Golden Age movies. I'm still iffy about the whole 3D thing they do with it, but I should still enjoy it. Also, I guess I could have put this in the video game section earlier, but Dragon's Dogma comes out on Tuesday and I must own that game. I can make Guts and give him his golden age armor and sword. I NEED IT I TELL YOU! NEED IT!
Alright, I'm going to skip comics this month since it's mostly Avengers vs X-Men and I'd rather talk about that after the whole thing is finished. However I will make a not that The Avengers was one of the greatest movies I have seen in my entire life. No question. It was fucking brilliant.
So, in less then a week now, I will be leaving for Fanime. On Tuesday I pick up Guy from the airport, then unless Deepfag winds up going up with his friend on Thursday, I will have Deepfag come stay the night at my house so we can all leave early Friday morning (unless we all decide to go Thursday and pull all-nighters). Should be a ballin' time though either way. I don't have too much money this year, so I most likely won't have as much swag to show off as I did last year, however I will still show off what I pick up for you guys (the 3 to 5 people who read this, even though I know that 2 of you I will be hanging out with at Fanime).
Well, I guess that is really all I have to say at the moment, I was in an extremely good mood as I have been for the past couple of weeks so I thought I might as well do my pre-Fanime update now. I'll be back again next month unless I feel the need to do some last minute post about something before Fanime. Also next month will of course be the post-Fanime post which might not come until after my birthday that way I can just bunch them together, unless I actually feel like doing multiple posts next month.
